November 14, 2012—Trona, California—A man was killed in an accident involving a semi truck in Trona on Thursday. The man was pinned between the semi and trailer and sustained upper body trauma. The accident occurred on Main Street around 6:45 p.m., according to the San Bernardino Sun. officers responding to the scene found the man pinned between the tractor and trailer and have not released any details on the cause of the accident. Pending notification of relatives, the man’s name has not been released.
The incident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Division as well as the San Bernardino County District Attorney.
