Chris Keyser, a lawyer at Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers, gives credit to his father as being his inspiration and role model.
In a rush to get out of college, Chris graduated with his undergraduate degree wondering, “What next?” Chris’s father, Gary Keyser, a Baton Rouge lawyer, encouraged Chris to get his law degree.
“If I had to pick one person that has had the most influence on me and my professional life I would definitely say it is my dad. He does not impact me on a daily basis but because of him, I am where I am today. I did not know if I would like law but now I’m definitely glad I pursued my degree, Chris said.”
Chris came to Dudley DeBosier in his second year of law school and has been with the Dudley DeBosier team for eight years now. “To be an injury attorney allows us the opportunity to help injured people who, for one reason or another, are at a point where they cannot help themselves.”
The advice Chris got from his father has impacted his professional life in every way. Chris hopes to one day be just as much as an inspiration for his children as his father was to him. “When I have children I will encourage them in whatever profession they choose. I always suggest to everyone I meet to find something you are interested and passionate about. If you are doing what you love you will do a great job at it and be happy at the same time.”
